Hey! What's going on here? I submitted my site, how come I'm not getting any hits???!!

This is a common question we receive, if this is you, you're not alone! Read this entire page and understand...

Understanding the basics of what a submission is, how it works, and when to expect traffic will be the key to your success--or failure.

There are many reasons why you may not be getting the traffic you anticipated, let's explore them and learn some key insight into what may be causing this.

First off, Search Engine Blaster can and does automate the submission process for you. This is the core functionality of the software, and hopefully the reason for you signing up.

We've all seen the hype, the spam, the other risky online offers claiming that they will submit your site, and you will get 10,000 hits a few days after. This is simply not the truth. This is deception and nothing could be further from the truth.

These tactics are NOT used, nor claimed, by Search Engine Blaster. No one can guarantee your success.

What we wish to do here is spell out the truth, and examine exactly why you may not be getting the results you anticipated.

Search Engine Blaster can automate your submissions, but it certainly will not make people buy or click on your affiliate link.

If you've been submitting without any success, let's look into the possibilities that may be causing such a bad response.

1. Submitting is only one portion of marketing a product or service.

Your headline, your ad copy, your offer, your credibility, frequency of submissions, etc, etc, will all play a role in getting people to your site and actually ordering something.

2. Allowing enough time:
Many folks don't realize that it takes time for your listing to actually get listed in the engines. The first question would be, have you allowed ample time to get listed? While some engines will list you in a couple days, other's take several months before they will index you. We've outlined these time frames here.

3. Top 50 listings--where's my site?
Getting into the top 50 is a very difficult process. It doesn't happen instantly.. in fact a lot of people are paying big bucks, like $2000 or more, to third party agencies who specialize in getting these top listings.

Our top listing tool will only show if your listed in the top 50 but there is another tool which will show you all of your listings in the engines whether you in the top 50, or last 50, in fact they show you exactly where you are listed on each engine. (This report is something we are working are now at search engine blaster)

They have a free trial download so you can give it a shot, and see exactly where you are listed: http://www.hitekhosting.net/wp/index.htm

4. Frequency; the top web masters know that submitting your site monthly is key to maintaining your search engine listing. This is the core reason for developing search engine blaster. Automated scheduling of monthly submissions to the Search engines is vital in maintaining a listing in todays competitive marketplace.

Search engines constantly drop listings, and add new one's all the time. By automatically re-submitting on autopilot, search engine blaster eliminates this cumbersome routine.

Here is an article I think you may find interesting, it was written by our company president and discusses a number of these topics.

The #1 online marketing tool in the world!

by Joe Bellshaw
President, SearchEngineBlaster.com

It seems everyday I run into a new marketing or promotion tool. This guy claims this, that guy claims that--so what's one to do? How can you make sense of it all? Which tools work and which one's don't? Who will give me an honest answer here and tell
me which tool I can use that will guarantee my success?

The answer:

There is no tool on the face of the earth that can guarantee your success. How could they? Do they know you? Do they know what your selling? Do they know if your prices are good, bad or otherwise? It simply cannot be done! Too many variables are involved which will ultimately determine your success.

All too often, I hear the same thing. "I just bought your wammo bammo submission tool and posted my ad on 10 billion web sites, how come I didn't get any orders? If this sounds like you, then listen up...

Sure their are 1000's of web tools online today, each one of them are typically developed to help you get your message out to the masses, and ultimately drive traffic to your site. Some tools are senseless--even useless, some are quite effective, but in the end there are way too many factors involved which will ultimately determine your success--or failure. There is only 1 tool that each of us can completely rely on. Which tool is that you say?

What's the most magical amazing tool in the world?

YOU.

Yes, you! You are ultimately going to make that tool work--or not. What am I talking about here? For example, one of the most popular promotion tools online today is
submitting your website to search engines. Sounds easy right? Just fill in a form and click on submit, right?

Wrong...

How you complete that form is essential. Your headline, (the descriptive text you enter in the site information area) is the key to successfully submitting, versus, simply submitting.

Let's look at these two headlines, and you tell me which one you
would click on:

#1 Work at home and earn lots of money! This is great opportunity!!!

#2 I made over $2000 last week in my underwear! Here's how!

Obviously, headline #2 is much more interesting, and says something that would really make me want to click on that.

Do you see the difference here?

While anyone can buy some submission software and submit, the person who wrote headline #1 will probably give up a short time after purchasing and walk away saying "gee, that software didn't work at all, what a rip off."

The person who wrote headline #2 is using the same software, and that headline will pay off big! That person will get the traffic, and get the order!

Do you see my point?

Here's two people using the same software, advertising the same product. One will be successful, one will fail. Why?

It's all in the headline/Site title!

Keep in mind, there are thousands of other people submitting everyday too. It will be up to you to describe your web site in a compelling format, so people will actually click on your link and visit it!

Remember, these are just tools. They can't think, they can't react, they can't write your web copy, and they certainly can't make people buy your products or services.

While many of these tools can make your life a heck of a lot easier--they must be applied. They must be used, and most of all, you must understand how they work. If you're not sure how they work, use the power of the internet--look it up!

So the next time you see that killer app, ask yourself:

- Can I make this work?
- Does it apply to what I am doing?
- Can I learn something here?
- Do I know what I'm doing in this area?
- Do I understand the process of how this works?

These are the questions only YOU can answer. Only YOU can decide if YOU can successfully apply any particular tool to your business, your site, your market.

Wow, that's a lot of "you's"!

Think about it, there is no one else who knows your product better than you. No one else will work as hard as you. And of course the infamous "There's no better way to get things done, than to do it yourself". Knowing that there is no magic button to press that will send thousands of visitors to your site is a "must know", for any new internet marketer. This just doesn't exist. Knowing that no one can guarantee your success by buying some software, a product, or a service.

Knowing that only you have the ability to use, understand, and apply that tool to your business. Don't get me wrong here, tools are great, I use at least 10 of them everyday. But I also understand the limitations, what to expect from them, and how each one of them works.

It's easy to blame others and say "that tool stinks!", or "I used such and such and didn't get one order", that's the easy way out. The clever way, the smarter way, is too look at the big picture.

If you ever tried a tool that "didn't work", ask yourself:

- Did I use this tool properly?
- Perhaps my ad or headline was bad
- Did I test my ads, or did I try it once and give up?
- Did I fully understand what it does, and how to use it?
- Do I understand the process?

One of favorite remarks from some of our members is:"Hey, what's going on! I just submitted my site to the search engines last night, but I couldn't find my site! What gives?!?, Is this a scam?"

For those of you in the know, you already know that search engines can take month's before they actually list your site, even thou you submitted it 3 months ago...

To the newbie, who doesn't understand the submission process, this
can be very frustrating. The newbie thinks like this...

"Hey, I just submitted my website, now I can go find it in all the
search engines, right?"

Wrong.

While the process of submitting to search engines may only take 10 minutes, the time it takes for the search engines to actually "add your site" to their database can take months. While this is just one example of understanding "the process", having this knowledge alone could be the difference between giving up and walking away, or waiting patiently, getting listed, and getting traffic.

This points back to the question, do you understand the process?

With dozens of ways to market a product or service online, understanding the process for each of these marketing methods will be essential to your success. Without some initial
investment in simply educating yourself, you will be lost
in the dark.

Everything will seem unclear, and nothing will seem to work. In the marketing game, knowledge is power. The internet is an abundant source of information--use it!

You are the #1 online marketing tool.
